BOOKO — Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the BOOKO application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
BOOKO is a booking platform that connects customers with local service providers (barbers, salons, mechanics, trainers, and more). The App enables customers to discover, book, and manage appointments, and enables providers to manage their business schedule, staff, and customer relationships.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- Each account is personal and may not be shared with others.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers are responsible for attending booked appointments on time.
- Cancellations must be made in a timely manner out of respect for the provider.
- Customers shall treat providers and their staff with respect.
- Payments for services are made directly to the provider at the location (cash or as agreed).
- BOOKO does not process payments between customers and providers.
5. Provider Responsibilities
- Providers must accurately describe their services, prices, and availability.
- Providers must honor confirmed bookings and notify customers promptly of any changes.
- Providers are solely responsible for the quality and safety of services rendered.
- Providers must comply with all applicable local laws, licenses, and health regulations.
- BOOKO is not liable for disputes between customers and providers.
6. Premium Subscriptions
- Customer Premium: Customers may subscribe to a Premium plan (Monthly or Yearly) which provides discounts on bookings.
- Provider Pro: Service providers may subscribe to a Pro plan which provides unlimited bookings, higher visibility, and analytics.
- Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and billed via Apple App Store or Google Play.
- All purchases are subject to the applicable store's refund policy.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store or Google Play settings.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the App to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code within the BOOKO App is owned by BOOKO and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
9. Privacy
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. We collect only the information necessary to operate the App and never sell your personal data to third parties.
10. Limitation of Liability
BOOKO is a platform connecting customers and providers and does not directly provide any services listed on the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BOOKO shall not be liable for: quality, safety, or legality of services provided by providers; any damages arising from disputes between customers and providers; loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from use of the App.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notification.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Tirana, Albania.
